Designed by Glyn Bilkey Architects, the building’s residential location meant noise control was an important factor to maximise the space during its’ weekend service.
A double-layered Durra Panel acoustic system with both Natural and Cement Sheet finishes provided the additional mass required for stopping sound breaking out to the surrounding houses. The panel also offered the perfect solution for soundproofing the auditorium walls – completing the entire acoustic envelope.
Durra Panel was the best fit to help keep noise from the music and performances contained within the building.
