The International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is a premier convention and exhibition venue located in Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia. It is owned by the New South Wales Government and managed by ASM Global.
The ICC Sydney opened in December 2016 and has since hosted a variety of international and domestic events, including conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and sporting events. The venue features a total of 35,000 square meters of exhibition space, including two large exhibition halls, a grand ballroom, and 70 meeting rooms.
The International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney was designed by two architecture firms: Hassell and Populous. Hassell is an Australian-based design firm that has worked on a variety of projects including urban design, architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture. Populous is a global architecture and design firm with expertise in designing sports facilities, convention centres, and other large-scale public spaces. Together, the two firms collaborated on the design of ICC Sydney
ICC Sydney was designed to be a sustainable and environmentally friendly venue, with a 6-star Green Star environmental rating. Durra Panel natural finish was used in the roof systems of the convention centre.
