Suspended Ceiling System

Durra Duplex Beams are versatile for use in suspended application, which combined with Durra Panel make for trafficable ceiling systems suitable for large scale warehouses and cleanroom environments.

The near flush finish of the system means secondary services can be contained in the ceiling void above making installation and maintenance much easier and more accessible.

Durra Panel is available in a range of finishes to suit a variety of acoustic, thermal and aesthetic applications. Once installed, Durra Panel becomes a trafficable platform to assist with further installation.

Durra Duplex Beams are able to be suspended from structural steel above and spliced together to create a continuous ceiling beam. Please see our Technical Manual for Duplex Beam sizes and span capability to assist in specification of a beam type for your project.

Durra Tee Units act as bridging members between Durra Beams to form the two way grid and completing the perimeter support of the panel. Ideally placed at equal spacing along the Durra Beam.

Durra Panel Wedges are inserted in alternate directions through the web of the beam, spaced at nominal 450mm centres, to secure the panel into the ceiling grid.

Durra Fish Plates are used to connect Durra Duplex Beams in continuous span in order to form a seamless connection from below.

Durra Ceiling Systems can be tailored to suit project requirements. Please consult your project Structural Engineer for further guidance on what Durra Steel Section is best suited for your needs.
