Wet Areas

Key Installation Guidelines:

• Seal all joins, corners, and penetrations with appropriate sealants.
  • This is critical to ensure watertightness and to protect the internal panel core from moisture ingress.
• Once all gaps are sealed, the surface can be primed, waterproofed and tiled using standard wet area systems and procedures.

• A waterproof membrane must be applied in areas subject to direct water exposure (e.g. shower recesses), in accordance with Australian Standards.

Important Notes:

• Only Cement Sheet finish Durra Panels are approved for wet area use.
• Do not expose unsealed panel edges or core material to moisture.
• Ensure all fixings, penetrations, and edges are sealed before applying waterproofing systems.

When correctly installed, Durra Panel with Cement Sheet finish provides a durable substrate suitable for tiling or finishing in wet area environments.
