Queensland Netball Centre

Nissan Arena boasts a 5000-seat show court as well as changing rooms and sports medicine facilities for community and elite athletes. The venue also plays host to Suncorp Super Netball Team, the Queensland Firebirds.

Durra Panel has now been installed in 6 out of the 8 National Competition’s Home Stadiums – A testament to the high acoustic performance and durability of Durra Panel & Ortech Building Systems.

Working together with Hansen Yuncken and the Queensland State Government, Ortech Industries supplied both the acoustic ceiling and wall systems for the stadium, using the Durra Acoustic Pattern Panel which provides impact resistance, internal sound absorption whilst mitigating traffic noise intrusion from the adjacent freeways.
