Wheat straw, a natural byproduct of grain farming, is collected from local Australian farmers and transported to our manufacturing facility in Bendigo, Victoria. What would otherwise go to waste becomes the core of a high-performance building panel.
The manufacturing process uses heat and pressure. No water. No gas. No toxic binders. The straw’s own natural polymer, lignin, self-binds the panel core. The result is a building material with an exceptionally low embodied energy, a carbon-negative footprint, and a service life of well over half a century.
