For standard interior doors up to 920mm wide, the cut out can be formed from a single panel. For doors and windows wider than 1187mm, space the cut-out equally across two panels, where possible.

Allow enough space for both the door/window and jamb. Ensure all cut edges are properly resealed with Durra Aluminium Sealing Tape

Trim the perimeter of the cut-out with Durra Single Channel to provide a solid fixing for the jamb and architrave.
